SKAPA Recycling GmbH has been located in Kottingbrunn for over 10 years. Up to 20,000 tons of material containing aluminium are recycled on the 14,000 m² company premises. The company specializes in the processing of UBC - Used Beverage Cans (used beverage cans).
On February 26, 2024, we met with Managing Director Anton Skalnik for a tour of the company premises. Divided into two groups, we were given exclusive insights into the company's processes as well as exciting background information on the recycling of beverage cans. We were also given important information about the photovoltaic system and the associated storage units.
