Commissioning of a 1,000 kwh electricity storage system from NEOOM in combination with a PV system expansion to 525 kwp

AUTARCY 70%

In the first expansion stage, SKAPA is commissioning an electricity storage system with 1,000 kwh for a daily requirement of 2,500 kwh with NEOOM's May 23.

As of September 23, the 250 kwp PV system planned from  March 2021 has now gone into operation with 325 kwp, meaning that almost 525 kwp of solar energy is running. SKAPA thus achieves an AUTARCY of almost 50%.

Further PV start-ups of up to 700 kwp will follow by mid-2024, with a gradual expansion of the electricity storage system to 1,800 kwh - the aim is to achieve self-sufficiency of 70%.
